1. Overview
Manvar Foundation aims to maintain a clear and transparent process for handling cancellations, refunds and payment-related requests connected with activities conducted by the Foundation.
This policy explains the circumstances in which a payment may be cancelled, refunded, adjusted or retained, depending on the nature of the transaction and the service, program or activity for which the payment was made.
2. Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to eligible payments made directly for Foundation activities, including applicable registrations, training programs, events, donations, contributions and other activities for which Manvar Foundation expressly accepts payment.
Refund eligibility may differ depending on the specific program, registration terms, published fee structure or written communication provided to the participant or donor at the time of payment.
3. Refund Eligibility
A refund may be considered where the Foundation determines that the payment is eligible under the applicable program or payment terms.
Examples of circumstances in which a refund may be considered include:
- A program or activity is cancelled by Manvar Foundation.
- A paid activity cannot be provided due to circumstances attributable to the Foundation.
- A payment was made twice for the same registration or activity.
- An incorrect amount was received due to a technical or processing error.
- A refund is specifically permitted under the terms published for a particular program.
Submission of a refund request does not automatically guarantee approval. Each request may be reviewed against the relevant records and applicable terms.
4. Program, Training & Course Fees
Fees paid for training, educational programs, skill-development activities or other scheduled programs are subject to the cancellation and refund conditions communicated for that particular program.
Where a participant cancels after the program has started, the amount already attributable to delivered classes, materials, assessments, administrative work or other completed components may not be refundable.
If a program is cancelled or materially discontinued by Manvar Foundation, eligible participants may be offered a refund, transfer to another available program, or another appropriate resolution, depending on the circumstances.
5. Donations & Contributions
Donations and voluntary contributions are generally treated as completed contributions once successfully received by Manvar Foundation.
A refund may be considered in cases such as duplicate payment, an evident technical error, or where a payment was incorrectly processed, subject to verification and applicable requirements.
Where a donor believes that an amount has been paid incorrectly, the donor should contact the Foundation as soon as reasonably possible with the relevant transaction details.
6. Events & Registrations
Registration fees for events, workshops, camps or community activities will be governed by the terms communicated at the time of registration.
If an event is cancelled by the Foundation, eligible registered participants will be informed about the available refund or alternative arrangement.
If a participant does not attend an event after completing a non-refundable registration, the registration amount may not be refundable unless the specific event terms provide otherwise.
7. Non-Refundable Payments
Unless specifically stated otherwise, the following may be treated as non-refundable once the relevant activity, service or administrative process has been completed:
- Completed registrations where the published terms state that the fee is non-refundable.
- Administrative or processing charges already incurred.
- Training or program components already delivered.
- Materials, certificates or other items already issued or prepared specifically for a participant.
- Voluntary donations where no refund circumstance is applicable.
8. Duplicate or Incorrect Payments
If you believe that you have made a duplicate payment or paid an incorrect amount, please contact us with the transaction reference, date, amount and relevant registration or activity details.
After verification, an eligible excess or duplicate amount may be returned through an appropriate payment method.
9. Refund Request Process
Refund requests should be submitted using the official contact details of Manvar Foundation.
Please provide:
- Full name of the payer or participant.
- Registered mobile number or email address.
- Date of payment.
- Amount paid.
- Transaction/reference number, if available.
- Name of the program, event or activity concerned.
- Reason for requesting the refund.
10. Refund Processing
Once a refund request is approved, the Foundation will initiate the refund through an appropriate payment channel, where applicable.
The time required for the amount to appear in the payer's account may depend on the payment service provider, bank or financial institution involved in the original transaction.
The Foundation cannot guarantee a specific credit time after a refund has been initiated by the payment processor or bank.
11. Failed, Pending or Reversed Transactions
In case a payment appears to have failed, remained pending, been reversed or otherwise not completed, the transaction may first be verified using the available payment records.
If the amount was debited from the payer but the corresponding registration, contribution or activity payment was not successfully recorded, the matter may be reviewed and resolved according to the transaction status and applicable payment-provider process.
12. Exceptions
In exceptional circumstances, the Foundation may review a refund request on a case-by-case basis. Any exception will be considered according to the facts, available records, applicable program terms and relevant legal requirements.
13. Changes to This Policy
Manvar Foundation may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect changes in its programs, payment procedures, operational requirements or applicable laws.
The revised policy will be published on this page with an updated effective or revision date.
